Helping clients with their planning is a privilege for Angela.  She starts by learning about her clients’ goals and concerns, using a client-centered approach to legal representation.  Angela partners with clients to provide understandable legal advice and tailored planning documents designed to fit the client’s needs.

Angela started her career as a nurse, earning her nursing and health administration degrees at the University of Washington.  Later, her passion for advocacy led her to the Seattle University School of Law, where she graduated in 2006.  During law school, Angela met Denelle Reilly, and their friendship evolved into working together and eventually co-founding Macey-Cushman & Reilly, PLLC.

Angela also enjoys teaching. She has served as Adjunct and Visiting Faculty at Seattle University School of Law, where she has taught the Estate and Disability Planning Clinic and the Trusts and Estates course to the next generation of lawyers.

Outside of work, Angela enjoys writing, music, and spending time with her family.  She lives in the Blue Ridge neighborhood of Seattle, and can be found swimming laps in the neighborhood pool from May to October.
