Macey-Cushman & Reilly Opens March 1, 2024

Opening a firm of our own is a dream come true.  Denelle and I met in 2004, while in law school at Seattle University.  We took several classes together, and we even clerked together at the Health Sciences Division of the Attorney General’s Office. Our paths took many curves, but eventually crossed again at Somers Tamblyn Isenhour Bleck, where we found our shared love of working with clients on a human level as they plan for and navigate challenging life transitions.

While law is not commonly considered a “helping profession,” we both find that being a lawyer gives us a unique window into the lives of the people we help.  We know that it is an honor when our clients trust us enough to share their values and aspirations about how they wish to live their lives, and the legacies they want to leave behind.

We are very fortunate to have worked closely with Barbara Isenhour and Sean Bleck, and we look forward to many years of serving their past clients.  As we reviewed old case files in anticipation of our transition to the new firm, we were struck by the many loyal clients who have returned to Barbara and Sean year after year.  We hope to inspire the same confidence as we embark on our new firm.

As we open our doors March 1, we look forward to the personal and professional growth that comes with establishing a new law firm, and we also look forward to the joy and camaraderie of working with each other and our outstanding staff.  Most of all, we look forward to working with our clients and meeting the many wonderful people we will have the opportunity to serve.  Here’s to a wonderful beginning!
